RBS replaces ABN AMRO brand in Indonesia
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) announced that ABN AMRO Bank in Indonesia has replace with new brand (rebranding) as RBS in Tuesday. As we know, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) bought ABN AMRO (Nederland Bank) in 2007 through RBS Consortiums RBS, Fortis and Santander (RFS). RBS Group has accused Big Consortium consist of Fortis, RBS and Santander in October 2007 and in next year, 3 October 2008; Nederland Government has bought last Fortis Stock in ABN AMRO and become stakeholder in RFS Holding to replace Fortis position.
New brand for ABN AMRO is a part to increase the goal; RBS is expected to be wholesale business bank and retail bank. RBS also to continue the Wealth Management System and Costumer Finance as the main ABN AMRO project in the past. With this integration, RBS will cover wider brand in Indonesia, in ten districts and in five biggest islands in Indonesia.
